This Laco model is also suitable for many areas of use. This is why the Laco watch has a special highlight: a relief in the shape of a scorpion.
The Laco Himalaya 42 comes with a simple, discreet black dial with white Arabic numerals. The unidirectional rotating bezel as well as the indexes and minute hand are coated with Superluminova C3 luminous material. The long-lasting afterglow effect ensures optimum legibility at dusk or in the dark.
This is an analogy to the scorpion, which produces fluorescent substances that make it visible at night after exposure to UV light.
With its dimensionally stable chitinous shell, the scorpion is also characterized by its robustness despite its small size. This characteristic also applies to the Himalaya 42 sports watch. The "scorpion" with a diameter of 42 mm is resistant to external influences. This is ensured by the sturdy stainless steel case, the screw-down back and the screw-down crown. The double-domed sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant. Thanks to its internal anti-reflective coating, it is less reflective and therefore offers better visibility. The Himalaya watch is also water-resistant to 30 ATM. The Himalaya 42 model is fitted with a black rubber strap so that the watch can also be used optimally in the water.
