Under the RECON label, a tactical waterproof slip-on jacket has been developed which, unlike normal rain jackets, is cut wide enough to be worn over tactical equipment. A 2-way zipper on the front provides access to the equipment underneath. This makes it possible to easily open the front area via a quick-access flap to access magazines, etc. The hood of the rain jacket is also large enough to be worn over a helmet. The Special Forces wet weather protection jacket also offers many other features, such as mesh fabric in the ear area so as not to restrict perception during operations.

Original Flecktarn material according to Bundeswehr TL with IRR coating to reduce the IR signature.
Wind and waterproof three-layer PTFE membrane in Flecktarn from Alpex.
